the new lasagna

I know my dad wouldn't get close to it with a ten foot fork (although, it's got cookies and butter and cheese and whole milk in it), but mom, you might enjoy this squash and carbohydrate-based dish.

I found a different sort of recipe for lasagna online. My search was inspired by a recent trip to Skylark's Hidden Cafe with my Uncle Jerry and Aunt Faye. My aunt and I split an order of butter nut squash lasagna and thought it was real tasty.

So, I found this recipe for butternut squash lasagna. I was nervous about the end result, but it turns out all three of us like the dish it turned out to be. We even pulled out a bottle of wine with supper. I enjoyed it enough to make it again sometime!
